Teacher's Diploma in Bharathanatyam (Academy of Fine Arts, London)

Dance is more than just moving in a pre-determined manner. It is a means of self expression and communication. It requires discipline, dedication and determination. At Rasanubhava we feel dance is not just something you do for an hour a week but is instead a way of life. Children are taught the basic skills of Bharathanatyam in a fun and interactive way. Theory is introduced in a way that is specifically catered for the age and experience of each class group. Sangeetha also facilitates the students’ dance journey by instilling the necessary religious and spiritual contexts to heighten and enrich their bharathanatyam experience. Age, knowledge or ability are not barriers, the youngest student at Rasanubhava is 4 years old and the oldest is over 60. Lessons will be specifically planned for the age and ability of the class members. Classes are conducted across different suburbs in NSW, Australia (Strathfield, Wentworthville and Leppington).
